Allison Amo is a licensed professional counselor who received her Master's Degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in addictions and certification in the treatment of eating disorders from Lewis & Clark College. She offers over four years of experience in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care as the Primary Therapist at the Eating Disorder Center of Portland (Monte Nido) and as the Program Director at Center for Discovery Portland Outpatient, which allowed her to work with an array of eating disorder symptoms and co-occurring conditions. Allison specializes in working with adolescents and adults who experience relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
In addition, Allison is the former President and Education Chair of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professional (IAEDP) Willamette Valley Chapter.
